DEAD-SET is a Sydney-based production company making film and content the proper way. No layers of fluff. No unnecessary moving parts. Just a tight team that knows how to get a job done.
We’re boots-on-the-ground by design. We like being close to the work, close to the decisions, and close to the details that actually make something feel right on screen. It keeps things sharp, efficient, and considered from start to finish.
Between us, we’ve spent the better part of a decade working across commercial, editorial and branded production. That includes everything from stripped-back testimonial shoots through to larger campaign work, always with the same approach: keep it clear, keep it intentional, and don’t overcomplicate it. We work both directly with brands and in collaboration with creative agencies, depending on what the project calls for.
DEAD-SET is led by Abel Robinson, a director, writer and producer who can also jump into the edit when needed, and Justin Jackie, a producer and writer with a background in high-end content and editorial. The structure is simple, but that’s the point. Fewer layers, better decisions.
